نفذت الإدارة العامة للمرور حملات مرورية مكثفة للضبط المروري تحت إشراف مباشر ومتابعة من اللواء شرطة نصر الدين محمد عبد الرحيم مدير الإدارة العامة للمرور، خاص بالمركبات غير المقننة بالتنسيق مع الآلية التنسيقية لحملات الضبط المروري لمكافحة المخالفات المرورية وحجز ومصادرة المركبات التي لا تحمل لوحات بدائرة الاختصاص بعدد من ولايات السودان المختلفة، التي شهدت انتشارا مروريا مكثفا لضبط تلك المخالفات بتوزيع قوة من منسوبي المرور ميدانيا للحد من الظواهر المرورية السالبة التي ينفذها سائقو المركبات غير المقننة.
وتجئ الخطوة في إطار جهودها الرامية لتحقيق السلامة المرورية و للحد من المخالفات المرورية التي تشكل خطورة على مستخدمي الطريق وتعزيزا للأمن وسلامة مستخدمي الطريق .
واورد المكتب الصحافي للشرطة إحصائيات ضبط المخالفات المرورية التي تمت ببعض ولايات السودان والتي أسفرت عن عدد من المخالفات سجلت منها ولاية القضارف ومنطقة الفاو 5445 مخالفة مرورية خاصة بترخيص المركبات، إضافة لـ (3179) مخالفة مرورية أخرى.
فيما تم تنفيذ حملات مرورية ميدانية بولاية نهر النيل شهدت تسجيل (1154) مخالفة ترخيص و(623) مخالفة أخرى.
وفي الولاية الشمالية نفذ فريق المرور بالولاية حملات لضبط المخالفات أسفرت عن ضبط (1199) مخالفة ترخيص و (1144) مخالفة أخرى.
وبولاية شمال دارفور نظمت شرطة مرور الولاية حملات مرورية حيث تم ضبط (1422) مخالفة ترخيص و (690) مخالفة أخرى.
كما تم تدوين عدد من بلاغات الحوادث المرورية بعدد من الولايات والقطاعات الأخرى التي شهدت وقوع حوادث مرورية أدت لوقوع إصابات بطرق المرور السريع
