جدد رئيس مجلس السيادة عبد الفتاح البرهان، تعاونه الكامل مع رئيس الوزراء عبدالله حمدوك فى إنجاح الفترة الإنتقالية، وصولا لإنتخابات حرة ونزيهه بنهايتها.
في وقت حث فيه لدى لقائه رئيس بعثة “يونيتامس” فولكر بيرتس بالقصر الجمهورى أمس، الأمم المتحدة لتقديم الدعم الإنسانى المطلوب للسودان لتخطى المصاعب الإنسانية خلال المرحلة الإنتقالية.
كما دعا لبرهان، قطاعات الشعب لمساندة ودعم الحكومة التى سيشكلها حمدوك خلال الفترة المقبلة، وطالب القوى السياسية الوطنية بالبلاد استغلال الفترة المتبقية من مرحلة الانتقال فى الاستعداد للإنتخابات.
من جانبه أكد فولكر، إهتمام الأمم المتحدة بإنجاح الفترة الانتقالية، معتبرا ان اتفاق ٢١ نوفمبر الموقع بين البرهان وحمدوك، يعد خطوة متقدمة فى اتجاه التوافق الوطنى بين السودانيين، ولفت إلى الخطوات الكبيرة التى تمت في تنفيذ بنود الاتفاق وفى مقدمتها إطلاق سراح المعتقلين السياسيين.
ودعا إلى ضرورة دعم رئيس الوزراء لتشكيل حكومته مؤكدا ثقته فى قدرات حمدوك فى إنجاح التحول الديمقراطى
