تابع الكثيرون الزيارة التي قام بها رئيس الوزراء عبد الله حمدوك الي قوات الدعم السريع والتي وصفت بحسب مراقبين بالتاريخية والمهمة في ظل هذه المرحلة المهمة.
وزيارة حمدوك لقيادة قوات الدعم السريع تعتبر تعضيدا للشراكة بين المكونين المدني والعسكري لتجاوز تحديات المرحلة هذه وصولا للتحول الديمقراطي المنشود.
وتعتبر أيضا اعترافا بدور قوات الدعم السريع في التغيير الذي شهده السودان في الفترة الماضية وجهوده في الحفاظ على الثورة وترسخا للسلام الذي تم في جوبا بين المكونات السياسية.
الزيارة تجسد بشكل واضح وصريح معاني ومضامين الشراكة بين طرفي الوثيقة الدستورية وتأكيدا على الروح الوطنية في إدارة الدولة السودانية ورسالة واضحة ومباشرة للمتشككين في وطنية هذه القوات.
وتحدث بصدق في هذه الزيارة القائد محمد حمدان دقلو “حميدتي” بصدق مشيرا للدور الذي قامت به قواته في انتصار الثورة وما قدمته من تضحيات كبيرة ولكن رغم ذلك واجهت هذه القوات استهداف ممنهج من بعض المتربصين حيث وصف حميدتي ذلك بالظلم الا انه قال إن هذه القوات رغم ذلك ظلت وستظل مع القوات النظامية الاخري حامية للوطن أمينة على مقدرات ورغبات الشعب صابرة ومرابطة تنفيذا لواجبها المقدس صونا لكرامة الشعب والأرض.
ورغم ذلك الاستهداف الممنهج الا ان هذه القوات تعهدت بأن الواجب يفرض عليها في ظروف شاقة أثناء قيامها بواجباتها خاصة على حدود السودان المختلفة حيث تواجه في هذا الواجب استهدافا متواصلا.
يجب أن تكون هذه الزيارة هي بداية فتح صفحة جديدة في تاريخ العلاقة بين المكونين المدني والعسكري وان تكون انطلاقة حقيقة نحو شراكة فاعلة وحقيقية وطي الخلافات والاعتراف بالواقع وبهذه القوات وبين المتشككين في صدق ونهج قوات الدعم السريع.
