قال نائب رئيس مجلس السيادة الانتقالي في السودان قائد قوات الدعم السريع محمد حمدان دقلو (حميدتي)، إن الاتفاق السياسي الأخير “عبر عن مبادئ وأهداف الثورة”.
وأوضح حميدتي في بيان ليل الأحد، في أعقاب توقيع الاتفاق الذي يقضي بعودة عبد الله حمدوك لمنصب رئيس الوزراء: “نبارك لجماهير شعبنا توقيع الاتفاق السياسي الذي جاء معبرا عن مبادئ وأهداف ثورة ديسمبر المجيدة”.
وتابع: “إننا مستعدون للعمل مع حكومة رئيس الوزراء عبد الله حمدوك، لتحقيق تطلعات شعبنا في الحرية والسلام والعدالة والعيش الكريم”.
ودعا حميدتي “الشركاء الإقليميين والدوليين إلى مواصلة دعم بلادنا، وصولا للتحول الديمقراطي المنشود، بقيام الانتخابات في نهاية الفترة الانتقالية”
