وأشار إلي أن الشريعة الإسلامية اهتمت بالطفل قبل مولده وحدد الاهتمام بالطفل واختيار الاسم الطيب مؤكدا اهتمامهم بتسجيل المواليد وقال إن هناك فاقد تسجيل كبير وان نسبة حوالي ١٧٢ الف من جملة اكثر من مليون و٤٠٠ الف.
وقال إن نسبة التسجيل الحالية تساوي نسبة تسجيل في محلية واحدة وقال انهم وضعوا خطة شاملة لتسجيل المواليد. وأضاف انهم يريدون الاستفادة من الوحدات المتنقلة ونقاط الشرطة وتحويلها لنقاط تسجيل بجانب تفعيل دور القابلات للتسجيل.
وأوضح أن مشروع السجل المدني يساعد الدولة في وضع الاستراتيجية للدولة وقال لدينا خطة متكاملة في عملية التسجيل مشيرا إلي عدم اهتمام المواطنين بالشهادات الثبوتية بجانب ارتفاع نسبة الطلاق ورفض الأب استخراج شهادة الميلاد مؤكدا أنهم بالقانون ملزم باستخراجها وقال إن هنالك شريحة المشردين ليست لديهم شهادات ميلاد وأنه لابد من ربطه بالدولة وصولا لتنفيذ الخطة خلال العام المقبل
