استخدمت قوة من الشرطة الغاز المسيل للدموع لتفريق المحتجين الذين قاموا باغلاق شارع النيل تحت كوبري المك نمر الذي تم اغلاقه ايضاً في تصعيد ثوري شمل اغلاق عدة طرق بالخرطوم ابرزها شارع الجامعة عند تقاطع المك نمر وشارع الجمهورية وشارع النيل .
واضطر عدد من المواطنين عبور كوبري المك نمر مشياً على الاقدام من الخرطوم بحري الي الخرطوم وبالعكس واستخدم بعضهم الركشات لعبور الكوبري .
وقام المحتجون برشق الشرطة بالحجارة عندما قامت باطلاق الغاز المسيل للدموع بالقرب من البوابة الشمالية لوزارة الخارجية ، وقام المحتجون بتتريس مدخلي كوبري المك نمر من ناحية الخرطوم ومن بحري بجانب تتريس شارعي الجامعة والجمهورية مما تسبب ذلك في اختناق مروري بوسط الخرطوم
