قطع النائب العام المكلف مولانا مبارك محمود عثمان بأنه لم يوجه ولا يمكن أن يوجه بحجب موقع إلكتروني أو صفحات شخصية على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي.
وتأتي تأكيدات النائب العام بعد أن ضجت مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي بأنه أمر نيابة المعلوماتية بحجب عدد من المواقع الإلكترونية.
ونقل الحاكم نيوز عن النائب العام المكلف قوله انه سلطة عليا ملجأ وملاك وبالتالي لا يمكنه أن يقوم بعمل ابتدائي مؤكدا أن حماية الحريات من أوجب واجباته.
وأضاف محمود أنه اذا صدر قرار من النيابة فهو قرار قابل للاستئناف وان لديهم لائحة تنظم كيفية الطعون
وقال : نحن اسسنا نيابة للمعلوماتية ونقلنا لها عدد ٤ وكلاء نيابة ومديناهم بأجهزة وغيرها وقلنا ليهم بالتوفيق
وأضاف بقوله : انا كنائب عام ليس من المناسب ان اتدخل في اجراءاتهم التي يتخذونها ولكن لا يوجد مايمنع من نظر اي استئناف او اعتراض علي اي قرار سواء بالقبض او احالة للمحاكمة او حجز اوحجب
